Fathers for Fitness is dedicated to inspiring children and adults to lead a healthy and active life and enjoy life to the fullest.
Former Arizona State University football player Robby Boyd is the founder of Fathers for Fitness and is currently employed in the health and fitness industry. Robby was a starting strong safety on ASU's 1987 Rose Bowl championship football team and graduated from ASU in 1989 with a BS in Social Work. Robby is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) located in San Diego, CA.
Health and fitness is a passion for Robby and he has been blessed to log over 4500 miles of running between 2005 to 2009. Marathons and half marathons are his specialty and on January 18th 2009 Robby qualified for the 2009/2010 prestigious Boston Marathon. He completed the race on his 43rd birthday, April 20th, 2009 in 3:40.
The opportunity to inspire children and adults to participate in walking, running, swimming, biking, hiking and other endurance sports is the driving force behind Robby's Fathers for Fitness foundation.
